Re:My worries 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have done blood test - prolactine in the morning for my Polish gynae as he wanted me to do it when i come back to Poland.
I got results today afternoon and it doesn't look so good - i have 62,52 ng/ml and norm is 3,4 - 24,1 ng/ml ..... and i feel more pain on my lower right side where is my ovary.
I can't seep on my right side as i feel sickness and i can only sleep on my back and left side.

I have an appointment with my Polish gynae 29th December - he knows my consultation results from England as i informed him about the result.

Lorraine,

thank you so much - it means a lot for me.

I hope i get some answers what elevated prolactin level can show. By PCOS prolactin level is normal or low - by me prolactin level is increased and it means i haven't PCOS in this situation.

These blood tests which i have to do in England can show ovarian cyst, ovarian tumour, endometriosis, PCOS etc. But as i wrote PCOS is by normal or low prolactin level only.

Take care and keep going to get answers which you want to be answered.

lots of love

Lorraine,

i didn't write here because couldn't come in here - don't know why.

I noticed i can't lie, even sleep on the right side - when i tried to lie on the right side i have nausea (sickness) - it is going to be worse every day for me
I have enlarged right ovarian side too.

I think i need reassurance but i know i can get it from doctors only - it makes me scared a little bit.
I try to be positive but this situation doesn't look as well as i would like it looks.

29th December afternoon i had gynae appointment with Polish gynae consultant. I don't know what to expect during this appointment - i want to ask him about my high prolactin level, my last symptoms which changed a lot during last month when i had visit by him, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

My Polish gynae couldn't diagnose what i have but he mentioned about PCOS, polyp (invisible on ultrasound scan)or inflammation. Polyp doesn't react on painkillers. he told me it's good doctors want to do laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in England to find the cause. He advised me to do morphology and CRP (c-reactive protein, which is used mainly as marker of inflammation and identified as cancer marker) and when i get results he asked me to ring him back.

It makes me worried every day and i don't know any answer till now yet. I hope laparoscopy and hysteroscopy shows the cause of my problem.
I got very strong painkillers (Tramadol) from my gynae because any painkillers didn't help me to relief my pain.
He told me if i feel unwell or my results will be serious i can go to hospital admission room and they do laparoscopy then.

I have done blood test today in the morning - morphology and CRP.
CRP is in the norm what means i haven't any inflammation what my gynae wanted to exclude.
In morphology result - i have increased PLT and decreased MPV level.
the rest is in the norm.

My gynae told me if i will have sharp, severe pain i should come to the hospital because he will be on duty for this period now.
I'm so glad i have wonderful doctor who cares of my health and wants to do everything i feel better.
He wants to know about my condition and consultation in England because he is very curious what is going on with me.
I'm very curious about my health condition too.

lots of love

I got period today so it is a good sign for me because i can go and do blood tests in 1 - 3 day of my cycle. It's good i can do it earlier before my follow up appointment which has been booked for 4th February and my doctors will get results early what help them to diagnose me better during ultrasound scans.

I'm glad i am closer to my appointment now

I have done blood (hormonal) tests on Thursday 7th January in the 2nd day of my cycle - LH, FSH, estradiol, testosterone, FAI and SHBG.
I'm awaiting for results of blood test.
I will have gynae follow up 4th February as planned appointment - if something will be serious they schedule earlier appointment for me as my consultant said during my last appointment in December.

Re:My worries 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi,

i got letter from hospital today - not with blood test results but for ultrasound scan appointment.
This appointment (transabdominal and transvaginal scans) i will have the 4th February at 2 pm - just 1 hour before my gyneacology appointment (at 3 pm) with my consultant. during gynae appointment he explains my results of ultrasound scans and takes decision about operation (laparoscopy +/- hysteroscopy and biopsy).

14th January i spoke to my manager about my hospital appointment and he decided me to come to work from 6 am and stay till 11:30 am (as i should be on the shift from 2 pm till 10pm that day) and then i go to the hospital by bus because nobody can give me a lift to hospital as they work till 2 pm and i have to be there before 2 pm. Anyway it is good to have understandable manager who is not doing anything against me in this moment.
