I just read this and thought how it was loaded with huge amounts of class system rubbish.
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/8420690.stm
I was brought up in a council estate in the north of England and would say that most of the guys and girls i know had their first experiences at about 15 or 16... so are they really saying that as poorer people have sex 4yrs before wealthier people, this means wealthy people have sex on average for the first time at 20yrs old?
Or maybe they their belief is that wealthy people start at 16 or so which means most poorer people start at 12... which is just rubbish.
Yes there is the odd exception who hit the news, but thats not usual situations at all.
Study leader, Dr Silvia Franceschi, said the findings were not restricted to adolescence and the risk of cervical cancer was also higher in women who had their first sexual intercourse at 20 rather than 25 years.
So wealthy girls on average have sex at 25yrs old!!!!
Is this what cancer research money is paid to, academics who just do nothing apart from write ridiculously incorrect studies???
